I have a day job
because I need new sources to find good comedy material, I didn't allege
to that in my interview but the side pay benefits are a very far
secondary return.
Seriously, I was actually reprimanded for not being serious enough at my day job last week. I tried with all my might to not laugh and I didn't when my boss read me the riot act in perfect corporate fashion, but when I walked away from his office, the comedy was too daunting and damaging to bare and I think I ruptured my spleen. I work for one of The "B.S." major healthcare companies and I am a contractor so I am not privileged enough to be covered by the benefits that my health insurance company provides. SICKO, the documentary movie apparently is coming out in theaters soon. I would have never known about it if it weren't for the flaming company memos that have been seen this past month, and due to the people dying from cancer themselves protesting out in front of our building begging for their chemo healthcare extensions. http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2007/06/29/BUG4CQNNAU1.DTL&type=health I think my boss (Also contracting on this project), I hope he opens that bar in New Jersey like he said he wanted too. I'm sure he will.
As for me, I will continue to write ridiculous humorous philosophical live truths as I see them.
